I came around 7pm and its was very nice and peaceful. Really gives college vibes so if youre looking to work on your assignments this is a perfect place for you! The customer service was extremely kind 2 lovely girls served me and had the biggest smile on their face. The lighting and architecture was aesthetically pleasing I took many photos and my business Charms/accessories aswell and took advantage of that the food was very very tasty I ordered the sucuk cheese scroll and it was perfect proportion and the matcha was so good (cinnamon scroll)-halal friendly so I was happy with the price I paid. will definitely be coming back again with my friend!!!
Great matcha drinks and creative range! Loved the ciabatta they use for the sandwiches! But one of the best service, a legend with humour and passion for food.
One of the best matchas in melb. Been coming here essentially every morning over the last few weeks as ive been working in the area. The matcha here is insaneeee. Flavour options are great and ive been getting the creme brulee matcha which im obsessed with. Both girls who work here are lovely and service is so quick
I dream about the lamb Royale Sandwich here, it is literally the best thing I’ve ever had. Amazing customer service, clean, welcoming atmosphere and nice matcha drinks, a definite must check out.
Cafe Carlton Solid neighbourhood café with a relaxed, local feel. The space is calm and inviting — easy to sit, chat, or just switch off for a bit. Coffee was well made and balanced, nothing flashy, just consistent and approachable. Food was good and comforting, the kind of menu that works for regulars rather than chasing trends. Not trying to reinvent anything — and that’s not a bad thing. It knows what it is, and it does it well. Carlton Coffee: 4/5 Food: 4/5 Space: 4/5 Every cup tells a story. YouTube: @heavenlysipscoffee
Absolutely phenomenal. The sandwich was packed with filling and all the flavours meshed well together. The matcha was great too, but a bit more on the expensive side.
Yum sandwiches and awesome service. The bread is so crunchy and crispy and the sandwiches are packed with meat and veggies; great value for money. I was pretty disappointed, though, with the iced taro as it just basically tasted like milk but I tried the strawberry matcha and that was much tastier and creamer. I’ll get that next time. Overall, the friendly and personable staff really helped set the comfy vibe. Great spot for brunch!
A little cafe that was close to us had many matcha options. Normally i don’t like cinnamon but the cinnamon matcha was really good. We also got the lamb Royale. Idk how to explain how good it was. The garlic sauce went so well with the lamb and the bread was crispy. Staff were really nice and they were playing really good music. I would recommend this place to people.
